There is an elegance that some events possess that I can’t even describe. Elizabeth and Matt’s day was one of those events. I recall sitting down with the DJ that evening and saying “Wow, this is pretty much perfect. I am so happy.” and he agreed. Something was in the air on this night and it was amazing.
At this particular wedding, it all began with a bride and groom that are so in love you could feel it if you were in the same room with them, and it ended with a sweet conversation over gluten free cupcakes on a bench inside The Crocker Art Museum. Both Matt and Elizabeth were glowing that day. They took in every single moment, they appreciated every fine detail and they moved their way through the day with a level of grace that you could only be in awe of.
The design for their day included a custom tent that we constructed in the courtyard of The Crocker. We accented the tent design with fabric, chandeliers and lighting to create a warm and glamorous feeling for their guests to enjoy. The tabletops were then layered with pops of mint and blush and accents of mercury glass and metallic silver elements. To finish off the overall design, we brought in rented olive trees to warm up the courtyard and add a little bit of a garden feel.
