Allison + Rob’s Private Estate Wedding by Sacramento Wedding Planner, 2Chic Events + Design:
My first interaction with Allison was so perfect, I knew immediately that we were going to work fabulously together. I typically connect with my potential clients for a phone consultation to see if we are a good fit before sending them any type of proposal. It’s a great little “getting to know you” session for both me and the client and I can usually tell right away if we are a match.
I completely lost track of time listening to Allison’s vision and chatting with her as if we had known each other for years. We chatted about the feeling that she wanted for her day in depth, and as we were wrapping up our call I said, “It sounds like you’d like to have a lovely dinner party where you get married”. She said “Yes!” and a short time later we got to work on creating their perfect, intimate celebration at a private estate owned by friends of theirs.
For Allison’s design, she chose a palette of powder blue and white with subtle accents of blush, which was so perfect for spring. I loved that she was open to all of my ideas and had some beautiful visions of her own, which melded together perfectly.

We hired Aimee at 2Chic Events & Design and asked her to help us plan our perfect wedding day in two months. She got us and our wedding desires from moment one. When we explained how little tradition we wanted and how we wanted our day to feel, she quickly coined our wedding as “a dinner party where you get married” and she couldn’t have been more correct. And she executed. It was a perfect dinner party where we happened to have also gotten married. We didn’t have to sacrifice on a single thing and that’s because of Aimee’s attention to detail and her connections. She led us to other vendors that were as amazing as she is and everything came together so perfectly.
Aimee has a very calm manner, really helps lead you in the right direction on choices without being too opinionated. I know for certain out wedding would not have been nearly as beautiful, fun or as well organized without and her team. So grateful for everything she did and on such a short timeline. It was so great working with her and although I hope I never have to plan another wedding (for myself)…I would hire her if I did or for any other big event we were hosting.
