There is something about a brunch wedding. They tend to contain an elegance, warmth and level of class that is absolutely swoon-worthy. The same goes for Laurel + Nicolas. The couple met at a coffee shop in San Francisco and have the sweetest, most serendipitous love story to go along with it all. They are the epitome of grace and they love each other with very ounce of their beings. We were honored to plan and design their Carneros Inn wedding this past May.
Laurel + Nicolas chose this Napa venue as the backdrop for their perfect intimate wedding. And, thanks to a little break from mother nature, they were given an absolutely gorgeous day to package it all up just perfectly.
The Design..
Laurel chose a palette of peach tones, blush and an array of neutrals to accent her day. Every single element that was put in place to create this day had deep meaning behind. Every aspect of their wedding was very carefully thought out. Working together with 2Chic Events, each and every detail of the design down to the lavender sprigs on the menus, was planned and placed just perfectly. Although, the true centerpiece that set the tone for the day was Laurel in her Vera Wang gown.
How They Honored Their Guests..
Following the ceremony, which was set against the backdrop of perfect blue skies and rolling hills, guests were treated to mini donuts from Boon Fly Cafe. And, of course, mimosas as they entered the cocktail hour. Once guests entered the reception, they were welcomed to an unforgettable brunch in an environment filled with luxe linens, gorgeous flowers and delicious fare. Packets of coffee served as guest favors and doubled as escort cards; a nod to the spot where Laurel + Nicolas’ met.
Our Favorite Moments..
Laurel + Nicolas’ first dance was one of the most well choreographed first dances we have seen to date. Their band, Apple Z kept the party going strong and the dance floor was packed until the very end. Following the reception, guests lounged and enjoyed bocce ball with the bride and groom until nearly 10pm at the Farm at Carneros.
It’s hard to describe the feeling of this Carneros Inn wedding day, other than to say that it was absolutely beautiful and heartfelt on the deepest level. I do believe that all of Laurel + Nicolas’ wedding dreams came true!
