Megan and Nolan’s Folktale Winery wedding in Carmel holds a very, very special place in my heart. Megan is one of the most beautiful people that I have ever had the opportunity to work with. We had an amazing connection right away, which turned into a relationship filled with trust and finally a friendship that I treasure dearly. Our ability to seamlessly work side by side, I believe, is responsible for the breathtaking outcome of Megan and Nolan’s wedding day.
Classic, elegant, warm and inviting, with lots of flowers, in Carmel. These are just a few of the descriptors that Megan shared with me in our first phone chat. Together we set out to find the perfect Carmel wedding venue for Megan and Nolan.
Folktale Winery landed on our short list and after visiting a handful of other venues together, Megan and Nolan decided that this was the one. Folktale Winery is a stunning property set against the mountains of Carmel Valley. With a private Vineyard and charming barrel room, Folktale has created the perfect outdoor and indoor location for a wedding.
Megan loved the idea of whites, greens, soft greys, a hint of black and a dash of gold for her wedding {we are soul mates, I tell you!}. With flowers being a very important component for Megan’s day, we enlisted Gavita Flora to being her vision to life. I could gush about these girls and their talents for days. But, for now, I will let you feast your eyes on the beauty of this couple and their unbelievably perfect wedding day.
This kind of perfection should only be captured by the best. The incredibly talented Megan Welker is another reason that this day was nothing short of perfection. We can now look back at this day in all of it’s true glory.
