Mia and Alex live in Los Angeles and chose Meadowood Napa Valley as their perfect destination location for their summer wedding – and it’s easy to see why. Meadowood offers some of the most beautifully stunning backdrops in all of Northern California.  This amazing summer wedding was recently featured on Style Me Pretty, which you can see here. Thanks so much to Apertura for providing us with these stunning images.

  Mia had a very distinct design style in mind for her wedding, and everything was centered around her stunning dresses. We chose a very clean palette of neutrals and whites for the overall decor and mixed in some pops of red via graphics of Mia’s favorite flowers. We incorporated orchids of every color into the design, but also chose to let each different style of orchid stand on it’s own in the areas that we used them. This created a striking design and really showed Mia’s style.

The ceremony design was one of my favorites to date. Julie Steven’s Design was the floral designer for this event, and she came up with a very creative altar piece with a mix of grapewood and orchids arranged so perfectly, that they transformed into a piece of art. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed al fresco dining with abundant orchids lining the tables. With just 80 guests in attendance, it was such a beautiful and intimate affair. Following the amazing four course meal, guests had an opportunity to dance the night away.
