Amira & Jon Part I {Egyptian Wedding, Sacramento}

Amira & Jon were married at a private residence in Folsom on June 26th and it was an evening to remember, to say the least. With an Egyptian Zaffa Ceremony, a custom built pipe structure with silver swagged draping, ambient lighting, fabulous florals and a bride and groom whose smiles can light up a room, the entire day was beyond gorgeous. Amira and I spent a short 4 months planning and designing this wedding  from beginning to end and had a great time doing it.

Amira & Jon hold a very special place in my heart and are two of the most genuine, positive and in love people I’ve ever met. They became more than just clients to me and I hope to know them forever. Check out the beautiful photos by Carmen Salazar {yep, she’s a rock star!} Special thanks to Becca & Sonja who took care of the Day of Coordination on this event while I watched my longtime best friend, Chad marry the love of his life in Los Gatos. You ladies are incredible!

Jon and Amira mixed sand from Egypt and from the California Coast

The Zeffa Ceremony took place as the bride and groom entered into the reception

Drums, our beautiful belly dancer and candelabra adorned dancers started the festivities off right!

The entire crowd was out of their seats participating in the dance.

And the two became one. Stay tuned for Part II, Reception Details! Thanks to the amazing vendor team, including Simply Elegant Rentals & Decor, Design with Florae, Sheffield Multimedia and of course, Carmen Salazar!
