Needless to say, we were beyond excited when the ever-so-fabulous Wedding Chicks chose to pick up our adorable Vintage VW Save the Date for a front page feature! This creation was months in the works ~ but as it always does, the concept and style of this came over me like a wave….this time just 5 minutes before a meeting with Jessica of Lovespun Films to collaborate on ideas! I was envisioning a cute, romantic journey through the beautiful countryside, a couple traveling this exciting path to marital bliss. And the one thing that I absolutely HAD to have to complete this vision was a red vintage Volkswagen convertible. I thought it would be next to impossible to find! But, I made one phone call and this beautiful baby landed in my lap! {You may recognize this car/couple from our promo video, which was double filmed as this STD} It was meant to be! love love love it. as a blue ’71 superbeetle owner myself (restoration continually in progress)…i am absolutely smitten with this save-the-date. i may just have to collaborate with you for my and my hubby’s 10th anniversary celebration. 🙂 just about any shots with a classic bug makes my heart just jump. something so nostalgic about it. great job to you too lovespun.
