We are diving a little deeper into the summer of 2015, when a perfect August day in the bay gave way to this beautiful downtown San Francisco wedding.
I always tell my couples that their wedding should truly be a reflection of the two of them combined, and that the best weddings feel a lot like a dressed up version of your own home. Jess + Cody really did an amazing job of letting their style and personalities flow into the design of this event. When we both came to our meetings with similar inspiration, we knew we had to incorporate a few key elements; arrows, a mix of bold patterns and this amazing color palette of peach, mint, marsala, navy and sage. To top it all off, Cody is an amazing graphic designer which really allowed us to run with the design for the wedding on a whole different level. Combining all of this with soft accents of flowers, greenery, ambient light and the sweetest details made it one of the most warm, welcoming, fun evenings I have ever witnessed.
In the end it was simply the perfect environment for an amazing party – complete with the best sister-officiant in history and capped off with a surprise flash mob for the bride and groom. {Yes, really!} Please see video highlight, courtesy go Phillip Alan Films for a snippet of that, along with their guests amazing dance moves.
