Kelly + Will, West Shore Cafe Lake Tahoe Wedding

October in Tahoe is what dreams are made of, in my opinion. And, it doesn’t get much better than a venue perched right on the shore that is reminiscent of a lakefront lodge.

Tahoe Chic pretty much sums up the vibe of this wedding. With plaids, rich colors and textures in the design and the most beautiful bride {please take a moment to swoon over Kelly’s dress!}, this day was near perfect.

While clouds and scattered rain loomed over us throughout the day, we had hoped for the sun to break through for the ceremony. Small windows of blue skies gave us so much hope that we decided to move forward with a ceremony on the dock, providing as many umbrellas as possible. And, just then – when there was no turning back, the skies broke loose with the hardest rain we had seen all day. We went for it anyhow and, although I think I stopped breathing for a solid 15 minutes, it turned out to be one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever witnessed.

I absolutely loved the opportunity to work with Kelly and Will to plan their beautiful West Shore Cafe wedding. As you will see, rain didn’t put a damper on the beauty of this day in any way. It was a stunner! Enjoy images my our sweet and talented friend Lyndsay Undseth.
