Top 10 of 2010 {#10, Favorite Wedding Design of 2010}

There's no doubt that private residence weddings are my favorite. And, intimate ones with killer details make it even better. So, here it is, the yumminess that I've been hanging on to for what seems like forever! {I now publicly admit that my thrown out back set me back WAY further than I ever could have imagined}

Linda & Brian were married at their {stunning!} residence in Sacramento with just over 40 guests in attendance, which allowed them to personalize their wedding in a way that even I have never seen before. From the fig jam favors, made from the tree in their back yard by Brian, placed on a hand fired glass plates made by Linda to the stable filled with pictures of the couple ~ it was so perfectly them.

One of my favorite memories of 2010 was collaborating with Linda & Brian on these details. The sparks flew in our first meeting together, and design-wise, it was as if the three of us became of one. My personal favorite details were the hand fired glass flowers that Linda made {and Audrey from Botanica Floral Designs incorporated into the bouquet}, the decor of the stable and the lighted canopy that we created in the large oak tree for guests to dine under {Linda & Brian loved the lights so much, they opted to keep them}. Enjoy a little taste of this impeccably photographed {by Allison Stahl}, rustic chic wedding below.

As day turned to night, the entire property transformed, with the lights winding down the branches of the oak tree, and the candles nestled in amber glass hanging lanterns giving off a perfect glow. After dinner, the cozy area inside the old stable was unveiled, and guests were invited in for Italian desserts and live music.

A special note to Linda & Brian, You forever hold a place in my heart! And Brian, Mike WILL take you fishing! xoxo
